44mag ammo online
im looking to buy 44mag ammo
I looked up georgia-arms and they are backed up for the next 5-7 weeks, so thats useless. Cabelas is somewhat expensive...the decent ammo is about $0.75 per round. know any other sites that have good ammo at good prices? Im looking to buy for less than $0.50 a round. thanks.

Georgia Arms
I ordered from Georgia Arms-price was good and the backlog must be easing, because after my first order the second followed pretty quickly and the third was only a day or two until they shipped it.The third order was for a cartridge that isn't used that often,so they probably had some on hand. The ammo comes securely packed with 50 round heavy duty plastic packs inside the box.Very handy for the range.
"Name" brand ammo is often twice the price and not any better. |

I looked around and I could not believe how much 44MAG ammo was:barf: I have not bought 44M in years, I only reload for it. About 28 bucks for 50 rounds was the best I could find.
http://shop.cccammo.com/newammunitio...rtridgeco.aspx I have bought 223 remanufactured from these guys and they have 44 SPL for 24 bucks per 50. Thats close to .50 each. I would look into starting to reload. For the price of 10 boxes of ammo you could get set up nice and if you saved your brass you are set. Maybe Santa will help you out Never used these guys but they are cheap: http://www.outdoormarksman.com/index.php?cPath=65_1_19

Ammoman is out of 44 mag I checked him 1st.
Edit#1 Here are 2 machines, both progressive that will get you going fast. All you need are Bullets, Primers and powder(I assume you saved your brass. The Lee is at one side of the scale the Dillon at the other. If you want to shoot a 44mag these will pay for themselves in 5-800 rounds. Somthing to think about. Reloading is fun and it saves money what more can you ask for. http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/con...atid/1/RL_550B http://www.rrarms.com/catalog.php?prod=90944

I will restate what others already have, reload. Simply looking for cheap ammo will never get you what you need unless your need is to just pull the trigger. You don't even need fancy gear. A simple Lee single stage press is capable of putting out ammo the equal of any other press. The equipment will pay for itself and you will be able to tailor a load to your specific needs. Quite a bit cheaper also.
If you reload, study what you are doing, stay within the stated maximums listed in the manual (no matter what some jaybird says), and keep records, the results will be amazing.

When I got my Redhawk it was with the idea that I would reload for it. I got the Lee 50th anniversary press kit. Not much money for initial set up but replaced the Lee safety scale. Been shooting the same 300 pieces of brass for a couple of months now without a hitch. THIS IS THE WAY TO GO. Paying $25 - $35 per fifty rounds is a real waste of money. For $34 I get two hundred fifty 200gr LRNFP hard cast bullets and it only takes me a couple of hours of my time to produce a light load which is a pleasure to shoot. Shooting my .44 is a real hoot and shooting it knowing where the next ammo is coming from makes for a big smile on my face.

I've had good luck with Buffalo Bore ammunition. I haven't bought their .44 mag ammo, but I've been through a few boxes of their Tactical Low Flash, Low Recoil .357 mag ammo for my S&W 340PD, and it's great. I also gave a couple boxes of their 9mm +p ammo to my sister and she loves it.
