Is Anyone Planning On Getting The Taurus "View"?
A 9 oz. five shot .38 special. I bet that will be a snappy little bugger. I don't quite get the lexan side plate, but it is different. And, that grip is a bit funky, too.

As soon as they come out with a metal sideplate, I may get one. The idea of a tiny revolver is pretty cool.

I don't mind or think bad about Taurus's , but I'd have to draw the line on that one and say no

I'm giving it some serious thought. You know they won't be made for long and it would be an interesting conversation starter.

I might look into it.
Seriously, not a chance. The name alone would stop me if no other reason.

Were they smoking crack?
The marketing team and the engineering department ought to be flipping burgers over this.
That said: They will probably be collectible some day. That may be the only way they can hope for sales. |

The idea of a transparent side plate is neat, for gunsmithing a problem.
I've made a few to help figure out why a gun stubbornly refuses to cooperate. But as a permanent part of the gun, not so neat. It probably wouldn't take too long for it to get so scratched up or damaged by solvents to become opaque instead of transparent, anyway.

I like the idea of a revolver that size, but the side plate is ugly.
