Surprised by 22/45

I popped a Try Glow tube style red dot on my 22/45. Sighted it in at 25 yds. Will hold under 2" group with mixed HV ammo. So we happened to go shoot cf rifle after. At 100yds the 22/45 hits POA and will still group 3" with mixed ammo.

these results are from a rest. I wish my off hand experience was similar. the surprise is that I expected some drop from the 22lr at 100yds. I should also not that it was pretty windy here today. Gusts 20-25.

That should keep the Pine Barrens' Jersey Devil at bay.

I have always found the accuracy of the Ruger MkII & 22/45 pistols to be really impressive.

The best group I've ever shot with a handgun was with a Ruger MkII pistol--basically the same upper (receiver & barrel) as a 22/45.

My 22/45 is an excellent shooter as well and fun to shoot.
