Franchi Law-12 Reviews

Found one of these in the LGS for $399. Liked the way it felt and seemed to be in excellent condition. I'd primarily just be using it for recreational purposes (too fat to be Tacitcool!). I'd be shooting mostly reloads, including slugs, in a little informal version of the steel challenge type matches.

Never been around one and was seeking thoughts and opinions. Also, what on earth is the little notched roller thingy on top of the buttstock??

Thanks,

Andy

I think Gun Test did a write up on them years ago and it was positive IIRC. I think it's far better than the SPAS which they also made since it's only designed to function in one mode.

For that price I think it's a great buy. May need to keep the loads hot to function it but that's not a big issue.

Those and the Beretta police guns just never got the traction in the market and seem to be very slow sellers.

If you like it for that price I would buy it.

Franchi is part of the Beretta family of gun makers. You might give them a call and ask:

Got the usual "Imported Shotgun Parts Runaround" today. Finally got to talk to the good people at Carlson's. They should have everything I'd need. Mann and Son, the "official" Benelli/Franchi parts source acted like they'd never heard of such a gun!

Much as I hate it when customer support is outsourced to 3rd parties, I think I'll bring this scattergun home!

law12 headache

Hi I have a law 12 a customer brought me and said that a "white" plastic part, part of a ring like. seal our gasket fell out and I cannot see anywhere in the manual where this piece would be. Does anyone have a GOOD schematic of the Law 12 or can help me with this problem? Thanks.

recon1911, since you've posted this inquiry in a separate thread, I'm gonna go ahead and close this.
