22 rimfire

I am trying to stay away from lead and lead gases as much as possible.
Anyone know if the primming material in the 22 rimfire are lead free!

Thanks,
Tony

I believe rimfire cartridges use the same lead styphnate as do centerfire cartridges.

In general, if it doesn't specifically say lead free on the box, it isn't.

Mal's right. If it doesn't say "Lead Free" on the box, the priming compound contains lead.
