Ruger Redhawk Scope Scallops (cutting)

I'm want to cut scope scallops into the barrel rib on my Ruger Redhawk, and make it into a "Hunter" Model.

Any smithies around that have done this?

I could not find any prints or drawings around, so I went ahead and oredered the Ruger rings and will take detailed measurements off of them. I have looked at a couple Hunter models at the LGS, the machining required is not complex.
