Laser vs. red dot

Is laser sighting easier to score with than a red dot? I realize lasers are typically not allowed for BE. I am curious about the difference though.

Oh, there is a world of difference and for I for one have no use for them. Night use has a great application. The Lazer, is a "cast light" that you have to loacate out there some place. The Red Dot only casts a dot on the front screen that can redily be seen when you get in your hold position. Pricing and usage is another factor.

Be Safe !!

Even if they were allowed (which they are not) at 50yards you wouldn't be able to see the dot on the black bull. Red dot is not more accurate than iron sights, just easier.
