I just bought an Alessi "Ghost" holster primarily for my Glock 26 and my P7. Was that a good choice for a concealment holster?
I heard it was good before and it says that it fits over 40 different guns. |

Alessi makes an excellent product...well made and soundly designed. It is difficult to evaluate how a particular design will work, as people differ in their builds, how tight they wear their belts, their clothing choices, tolerance for discomfort, et cetera.
One also must evaluate a holster within the context of what it's for. There are trade-offs of accessibility for concealability, speed for security, and so forth. Your "ghost" is meant as a deep cover IWB holster. It holds the pistol very low beneath the trouser waistband, in order to maximize concealment. It would be a bad holster to enter a fast draw contest with. On the other hand, a "race" rig would be pretty hard to hide. I would be very interested to hear your opinions of the holster after using it a bit. Please post your impressions here. Rosco |
