Headstamp nny on 40 cal brass
Anyone know who makes the brass with the headstamp nny ? Looks like nny but maybe it's some foreign lettering. These are 40 cal range brass I picked up.

Academy sells Monarch ammo with that head stamp. It is made in Russia for Academy.
I have reloaded in 9mm .40S&W and 45 ACP with the brass marked( nny) and have had no trouble. I have shot the Monarch brand ammo also with no trouble. My wife used it all the time in her 9mm until ammo kept going up in price, then I started reloading for the 9mm. |

Well, technically, there is no Yugoslavia anymore ... I think Prvi Partisan is in Serbia or Montenegro (or maybe Kosovo?).
Years ago, they imported into the U.S. under the Hansen name (and back then, it was Yugoslavia). At a minimum, they are also currently supplying brass ... and perhaps complete cartridges ... to several other firms to market under their own names. At least some of the Wolf Gold line is Prvi Partisan. dogfood |
