Restrored Python grips
Where did you get it done? I attempted to "freshen" the checkering on a pair of grips that were refinished--the checkering was nearly filled with Tru-oil or something--and screwed them up pretty good. Now I need a rescue!

Thanks
The original Gen2 Colt stocks had the checkering raised above the grip surface. Many people just sanded them smooth, (not thinking they'd be worth $200-$300 down the road). These had so much wood removed, swamprat could only checker them into the wood like a Smith & Wesson. But they work well and look pretty good, too.
