Is anyone familiar with Militec gun oil. I have a brochure from a gun show going into detail about it, but it is a name I've never heard of.
Any info?
Thanks, Bob

I'll second the question.

I've read/heard about Militec, so I ordered a bottle. It was accompanied by several pages of laudatory claims and testimonies.

Maybe it's my sceptical nature, but I would have been twice as impressed with half the claims.

Anybody willing to share their impressions of this stuff?

What are the claims? Mil-Tech - sounds like Break Free to me...

I watched them do a test between break-free and Militech. The test was a machine with a bearing spinning at some rpm with a handle that would be pulled forcing another piece of metal to contact the bearing acting as a brake. Handle was attached to a torque wrench and the amount of pressure was able to be measured, placed upon the handle. The amount of pressure was much more with the Militech than with Break-Free, before that sound of metal stopping metal was heard.
