My new IDPA/ESP gun

I've been lusting for one for almost 2 years now. I finally decided to take the dive, and bought a CZ 75B SA Target. I've not taken it to the range yet, but this thing is sooooo freakin smooth.

The last pic lists the things that it comes with straight from the Custom Shop.

I picked it up at the Dulles gun show this weekend, but have not had a chance to shoot it. I should have that resolved tomorrow. Ordered a Comp-tac holster and double mag pouch for it today. Cant wait for the next match!!

It also comes with two targets from the Custom Shop. The first target shows the grouping of the SA prior to the CS work, the second target is AFTER the CS work. It's hard to see, but all rounds are almost touching each other. Both targets are 5 shots at 25M.

Are the aluminum grips comfortable?
They look all slab sides and corners to me.

It is EXTREMELY comfortable. More so than my Sigs or my Kimbers or my XDm. My coworker, who has owned numerous 1911s, fell in love it as well, and wanted to trade his Fusion for it.

Dont know yet, as I havent gotten my holster for it yet. But I doubt I will carry it. I got it primarily for range and comp. I will say it's not real light, so it shouldnt be too much different than carrying my Kimber Tact Ultra II.

I had an opportunity to shoot my friends cz75 SA from the custom shop. 1 word....AWESOME!!

As far as the aluminum grips are concerned, they are very comfortable, but For action shooting, tend to become slippery (even with the small amout of grip tape on them). Other than that, its a GREAT gun!!

Does that gun come from the (Czech) factory with a firing pin block? If so, does the custom shop remove it?
