Best 5.56 ammo deals??
Where is the place to buy 5.56 ammo right now for the best price?
I'm looking for brass case and 55gr or 62gr. Probably buying ~500 rounds. |

Best Deal .223
I get my .223 from Master Class Bullets in Dallas, Texas
I just bought 4 cans of this 5.56mm / .223 ammunition: Federal Lake City, 5.56x45mm, M855, 62 Grain, Green Tip, Full Metal Jacket, 420 Rounds on Stripper Clips with New Military Ammo Can. * New production 5.56mm Federal ammo is reloadable, features Brass cases and Boxer primers. This ammunition is non-corrosive. Comes on 10 Round Stripper Clips with one Feeder. $150.00 shipped. They had some other Federal ammo a while back for $300 per 1,000 I think it was 55 grain, FMJ. Birdhunter- how many rounds approx have you purchased from them? Looks like fair pricing, just hesitant regarding reloads.

Picked up 500 rounds each of "blaster" .223 and 9mm, 240 rounds 308 Win 175 gr. HPBT-Match and a few boxes of their .50 BMG loads (one each of API, Tracer, FMJ) Blaster 9mm's are great for plinking, not so much for target use. Brass is nice, bullets have lots of small dents/dings in the jackets. 0 malfunctions through Glock 17, 26. Seems to run clean enough. Haven't tried the blaster .223's yet.....brass in dinged on about 3 out of 10 rounds. Bullets look smooth and uniform. May have feeding issues. Twist my arm and Ill post some photos of some dinged .223's and 9mm's if your interested.
