Butt stock sleeve that holds ammo
I need an elastic sleeve/sock that goes over the butt stock of a rifle and holds extra ammo.
The gun is a 1885 falling block single shot in 22 hornet. I bought a standard such sleeve at Bass Pro but the 22 hornet cartridges are so small that they fall right through. Solutions? |

homemade
You can buy bulk elastic strap stuff at most fabric stores. Some ingenuity (or a cooperative friend w a Singer, and I don't mean a 1911) should allow you to fashion a cuff for .22 Hornet.
I found a saddle shop locally that made me a dandy one for 12ga, from leather, another option if you wanna pay. |

Options ??
You could take and existing elastic sleeve and restitch it tighter. Even stitching a shotgun sleeve down the center of each loop, might work. ..
