Improved sights for the CX4 Storm?
Hi everyone,
I just got a CX4 Storm mostly for recreational shooting and to have available for home defense if need be. I shot the gun yesterday for the first time and enjoyed it alot. However I was slightly irritated with the factory sights. When shooting at a target with a dark background it was almost impossible to see the factory sights. This gave me serious concerns for using it for a home defense gun until I can get a red dot or laser on it. Has anyone found any aftermarket sights at a reasonable price that make the sights visible? Has anyone experimented by painting the front sight? Any tips or ideas are greatly appreciated. S.M. |

I tried painting the front sight post on my CX4 and it didn't really help much. (works great on my pistols though) I ended up putting a cheap BSA red dot on it and use that for the main sight, I can still use the factory as a backup.
