ISO New Sig Sauer P238 PSP (Purple Pearl)

First off, if I am breaking any rules by the nature of this post, I apologize.

A while back while shopping at a big-name outdoors retailer, we came across a variant of the Sig Sauer P238 called the Purple Pearl. My wife thought it was a very nice looking gun, and gave consideration to getting it, but ultimately passed.

She now regrets that particular decision, and I have been on the hunt looking for one to purchase for Christmas. The kicker is though that I cannot find one anywhere (online or local to Colorado). As such, I thought I would post here to see if anyone has a "line" on one that is available for purchase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

looks like it was a special run a couple of years ago, probably gonna have to monitor gunbroker.com to see if one pops up. In the meantime, she might like this one.

She probably would like that one on GB. The gun is actually the one in pic #2. It's the purple chrome ice. Very beautiful handgun and I bet she would be thrilled to find that under the tree or in her stocking.

Yes, but unfortunately not my wife... It had sold before I got a chance to check into it.

You could look for an inexpensive used one and have a custom finish put on it...

In the November 2016 issue of Guns magazine, two Kimber pistols were reviewed, one of them, the "Amethyst Ultra II", a compact carry pistol chambered in .45 ACP, had a finish "designed to appeal to women" with its striking "deeply saturated purple finish and tasteful border engraving." The other gun being tested was the "Micro Carry" model, chambered in .380 ACP, a conventional sa pistol closely resembling the Colt Mustang and SIG P238 models.
But what's not clear to me is whether you can get the Micro Carry model with the Amethyst finish. If so, it could be your solution. Or your wife might be interested in the Amethyst Ultra II if she likes the .45 ACP chambering. Something maybe to look into if she insists on The Color Purple.
