Depending on where you are, firearms are "required" to be sold with a lock. The responsibility lies on the seller, not the manufacturer. Might have had a run on Ruger locks and received the Remingtons without any.

SENDERO
Thanks rob228, it had the rem lock in there also, but you could be rite on the ruger locks. It just surprised me when i seen the lock in there, i thought i might have bought a used or repackaged gun..
And to the nature boy , its a 7mag , what is the best ammo to buy for that caliber , do you have any suggestions ?? |

When I buy a handgun in Oklahoma,,,
When I buy a handgun in Oklahoma,,,
I have to initial a place on the 4473 that says,,, The gun dealer offered me a gun-lock and I refused it. Actually, it might not say that I refused it,,, Maybe it just says I acknowledge that he offered me a gun lock. He said it's a state requirement. Aarond .

I hand load for my 7mm rem mag and use 63.5 grains of Reloader 22 under a 168 grain Sierra Match King bullet. That load data was given to me and I've shared it with many others. I've used Reloader 22 when loading 160 grain Game King Bullets as well with good results. My experience is that anything in the 160 grain range does well for me :-)
