Here of late I've been using Missouri Bullet Co's 250 grain RNFP and 255 SWC, both for the .45 Colt. I've also had good results 170 grain SWC for the .40 S&W.
I've been quite satisfied with all.

Meister and Oregon Trail work very well for me in 45 acp.I plan to try Missouri Bullet in the near future. I have never seen a bad review for Missouri Bullet and the prices look good too.

My choice to replace store bought hard cast bullets was to start casting my own. Now all I shoot are hard cast bullets that I've cast myself. Yes, its a bit of work. But, casting is as much a hobby for me as is reloading and shooting. Its all stuff I enjoy to do. And I'm saving a ton of money.
If I had to recommend "store bought" hard cast I'd look to laser cast, oragon trail, mastercastbullets. There are a lot of good ones available. |

+1 for the Sarge's opinion. Missouri bullets are excellent and they back them up with excellent customer service + fast shipping.
