I have seen that the new MSG has a 50 round drum...is can this be purchased??

are there any implications in buying hi-cap mags from outside the us and bringing them back??? anyone know??

Given the dates of manufacture, some HK11 LMG and G8 'sniper rifle' drum magazines could have been imported to the US long before the high-capacity feeding device ban went into effect. The original HK11 had an optional 80rd saddle drum, and the HK11E and G8 have both been offered with a 50rd drum. The drum magazine shown in certain MSG90A1 (DMR) photos is the same offered for the HK11E and G8.

How many were imported pre-ban (if any) and where to find them is not known to me.
