a5 magazine tube removal?

I have an 1994 model Browning A5 with the magazine tube broke off in the mag. cap nut. I have ordered a new one from Browning. I took the selector switch screw out but the tube will not unscrew. Am I missing something or are they normally that hard to remove?

Pull down on the forearm THEN unscrew.

The nut is completely off the gun with part of the threads of the tube still in it. I cant get the magazine tube itself to unscrew from the receiver. the parts pictures I've found online show fine threads on the receiver end of the tube. Is it possible they could be left hand threads and I'm trying to tighten it even more?

Go to the Midwest Gun Works site and look under the Browning area. They have the factory service manual for download. In the manual they explane how to remove the magizine tube. I would soak it first with PB Blaster and get a strap wrench.
