T2 MK5

When my uncle passed a few years ago he left to my brother and myself the remnants of his once sizable collection. We lucked out with some pretty neat finds, most with some degree of collectibility. Among them happens to be a Leader Dynamics/Australian Automatic Arms T2 MK5. One of the few rifles completely designed and built in Australia.
In recent days I started doing a bit of research into it and it seems that less than 2000 came to America.
So... Apparently I have one of the rarest contemporary "assault rifles" in the US, and I was just wondering if anyone out there has any idea of its' approximate value.
Does anyone know where I can find (more) information on this intriguing firearm?

Wiki and a few other sources are where I found a lot of the information. I also found a gun forum that has international sections and there were some Australian guys discussing the piece, but they didn't have much info for me.

Here's a pic of the sweet little beast.

Apparently it's worth $600-$1100, and can use a standard M4/M16 barrel. The bummer is that there's no option for optics without permanently modifying/harming the gun.
The cocking handle is difficult to deal with (Being on the left side with a super heavy return spring.), but it's still pretty fun.

Who wants to go to the range?

The carry handle doubles as a scope mount. I have a Leader and it is a fine shooter. Light as a feather as well.

It's an extremely cool rifle, very simple and elegantly designed. It's kind of like a simplified AR-18.

The takedown method is also very neat.

It's designed to be rather inexpensive to produce and with a minimum of tooling, and I'm very surprised and disappointed that there isn't an American counterpart.

Not an American Counterpart? What about the Keltec SU16? Seems like it has all the same features.
