Each course builds on the last starting with PROTOCOM 100, which provides students with an excellent entry-level exposure to PROTOCOM concepts, principles, tactics, and techniques. PROTOCOM is a ten-level system (100-1000) that teaches modern tactical pistol skills, state-of-the-art physical defense skills, and the total integration of Pistolcraft and Combatives into one seamless program of intermediate and lethal force options. Each course covers new and effective tactics and techniques found within the following PROTOCOM training modules: PISTOLCRAFT Handgun Manipulations Handgun Marksmanship Ready Measures Shooting Responses Combative Shooting Positions Reactive Movement Multiple Threat Engagement Tactical Movement Bilateral Shooting Close Tactical Shooting COMBATIVES Aggressive Response Tactics Offensive Direction Techniques Defensive Folder Tactics Standing Escapes Ground Countermeasures Active Weapon Defense Handgun Intermediate Force Weapon Threat Removal Knife/Counter-Knife Handgun Retention Tactics In addition to the cutting edge material presented, participants will practically apply all skills and tactics during reality-based technical and live fire drilling, skill-building exercises, live fire tactical scenarios, and physical defense combat scenarios. Taking it even a step further, participants will be challenged through comprehensive performance-based training periods consisting of Pistolcraft and Combatives Skills Tests that measure individual abilities and skill levels in each discipline. Performance-based training methods are used to award PROTOCOM Skill Certification and graduation certificates. No other use of force or personal defense training program even comes close to offering the curriculum, instruction, practical application, and validation that come standard in all PROTOCOM events. Registration deadline for any of the Sept ’04 events is September 15, 2004. Slots in these events are limited to first come first served. For more information or to enroll, please contact PFC.
