Traditions Persuit Ram Rod Problem
I installed a T Handle on my Ram Rod and cant find a bullet pusher small eneough to fit back in the barrel rings and under the hand guard. I have to screw one on everytime i use the Ram Rod. It would have to be female threads to fit the rod I have. Any advice ?

One option would be to use convenient slip on handles like these for hunting:
http://thefiringline.com/forums/show...43&postcount=6 Doesn't the supplied bullet pusher also serve as a cleaning jag? Last edited by arcticap; March 5, 2012 at 01:36 PM. |

Thanks Articap
Yes the supplied one does serve as a cleaning jag. I guess i will just get a knob to use while hunting. It would have been cool to be able to carry it with the T handle attached though.

A folding "T"
TX
Sad to say that TC no longer lists a folding T-handle with a 10/32 thread that threads onto the end of your rod. You can carry it all the time, collapsed/folded and then open it up when you need to use it. I currently have one on my hunter and it works out great. I suspect that they are still available and will forward it to you when I locate one. ... The do show this one and that handle on the end, is what I'm talking about. Mine extends past the muzzle and I have a plastic boot over it for protection. https://secure.tcarms.com/store/univ...t-no-7980.html Be Safe !!!

I have a folding T Handle, the problem is the other end, thats necked down and threaded, If I put a bullet pusher on that it will not fit back under the barrel.
Its kind of anoying the threads are a little messed up, I had to chase them because someone tried to open the action with the rod under the barrel, but thanks for the help. This is a Cool muzzle loader though, its got the fluted barrel, thumbhole stock, and I put a Leupold Ultimate Slam on it. Just wanted a cool ram rod to go with it. |

Hard to get something to work when the weapon wasn't designed to accommodate. Have someone with a full size drill press take a look at what you want done. He may have your answer to the problem? For parts no longer available? EBay may have one posted occasionally?
