IDPA age limit?

Is there a certain age you have to be to shoot in an IDPA match? My younger brother is 14 and wants to go compete.

I don't think there is. If the kid has a parent or guardian present, and the MD is convinced he or she is safe, I don't see why it shouldn't be OK. Of course, individual clubs could have safety rules that trump what IDPA allows.

Age 12, if not prohibited by law but with parent or legal guardian present throughout the match. I shot the Nationals last year on squad with our club teenybopper, then 13. She did just fine.
