I am going to be using a shot timer for practice and "informal" competition. I do shoot IDPA but will not use it for official club matches. The official Vickers Count Timer is available through IDPA Pro shop for $206.00 w/s&h but I found the CE Pocket Pro @ Denny's for $120.00 and Dillon has the CED 6000 on sale for $129.00. Any opinions or feedback, has anyone used any of these? Can they all be used for IDPA type competitions? How about any better deals??? Any used ones for sale??
Thanks, Dave

Our club (IDPA, IPSC, Cowboys, USPSA) uses Competition Electronics. More a situation where we have used them for years and are very satisfied.

Most of our clubs timers are CE's as well. No complaints.

We recently aquired some of the Pact Club Timers. I used one while ROing an IDPA match yesterday and have no complaints.
