Need Assistance On Fitting ArchAngel AA700A
I have a Remington 700 with a heavy barrel, 700 sps that is fluted.
I purchased this stock and fitted the barrel into the stock, everything went extremely well with the fitting except when I try and load a round into the rifle from the Magazine. It seems to hit the load guide, for lack of a better term, on the barrel and takes a well placed push on the bolt to get it to load. I believe the magazine well is just a little short of fitting at 100% but I am going to say it is at 99%. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this issue? I have searched everywhere on the net and cannot find anything covering this issue. I know it will shoot but the idea of really slamming the bolt forward each time and the magazine marring the brass really concerns me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks In Advance. |

Hand fitting with a file or drum sander on a moto-tool like a Dremel on low speed. Gunsmiths do this a lot, and if the stock is wood, you can pare down spots with a small wood chisel.
