Ruger Bisley and Buck

Here is a pic of a buck I harvested this weekend with my Custom Ruger Bisley and a 310gr cast handload. Ruger customized by Michael Shumaker, Shumaker Custom Gun Works, Stephenville, TX.

Very nice!

My next task for this season is to take one with my Blackhawk in .45 Colt. Shooting a 260 gr. cast WFN at @ 1270FPS. Should do the trick I'd think. Same load from my Rossi put one down with authority on Saturday though it was goin' just a wee bit faster......
