300 Win. Mag. & Barnes Triple Shock
Bought some new Tipped Triple Shock Barnes 180 grain bullets today, and looking to load them for a 300 Win Mag. Problem is, I don't own a Barnes manuel. Do any of you guys have the new #4 manuel, and if so, would you mind clueing me in on what the loads for R-22 are?
I will be loading them for a Thompson Encore. Thanks in advance. |

If you haven't loaded the tipped or regular TSXs before, be sure to read the little brochure that comes with the bullets. They're kinda picky on seating depth for best accuracy.

I load the 180gr Accubond in my .300 win mag with RE-22 rifle is a Winchester model 70 leaner and trimmer.
My load is 76gr of RE-22 and a Federal Mag primer winchester brass. This load is a max load stated in my manual. I have no pressure signs with a verlocity of around 3050fps. Please be aware this is a load that i have worked up, i recommend you do not copy this load in your rifle. Start 10% less and work up.
