Do you mean the recoil spring or the main spring (hammer spring)? Check here and see if it answers your question; if not, check back.

That is what I was afraid you were going to say. The recoil spring is easy. I have only had one of those down and my memory is not so good. Needless to say, the S&W manual says to "never" (repeated several times, in red) disassemble the pistol beyond field stripping. So anyone with better info, please feel free to chip in.
Now if I can recall a bit, first you remove the grips. Then you can see the mainspring and the mainspring guide. Cock the hammer and look to see if there is a takedown hole in the end of the guide. If there is, insert a paper clip and lower the hammer; you should be able to just pull out the spring and guide. I don't think you have to remove the hammer. Wolff (www.gunspring.com) has springs. I checked before
And did not see one but I will get a bright flashlight and see it I missed it or not. I can do about anything to a SIG P232 P239 P229 P226 P220 but I don't know much about this gun,
Thanks,Keith
