Reloading 45 ACP with Bullseye
For reloading 45 ACP with 230 grain FMJ bullet and Bullseye powder, how many graings of powder do you suggest. I know Bullseye has been out there for many years, but seems like every reloading manual has different data on maximum loads and velocity. I am very surprised that there is such a big discrepancy between various manuals. how do we know which one is accurate and which one is not.
But any way, do you guys have any favorite reciepes with this weight bullet and Bullseye? |

I like 5.0 also. I've tried from 4.6 to 5.4, and 5.0 gave me the lowest ES and SD and the tightest groups also. You might find something different with the FMJ, I use Rainier 230 RN plated bullets.

5.0 grains of Bullseye works great for me behind a 230 gr. LRN bullet.
