JC Higgins mod 44/Marlin 56 firing pin problem

Hope this is the right forum. I have never had to repair a gun before and I am new to the Internet for gun questions.

I sold my buddy a JC Higgins mod 44 which is the same as a Marlin 56. Found out tonight the firing pin is missing! Any experience on getting such a part or what it would cost to have repaired?

This a tricky repair job. Try Numrich Gun Parts for the firing pin.
