What button sequence do press to get the prompt to put the check weight on?
(Can't find the instruction sheet.)
I do like the scale very much.

Hold the "Units" button until the LCD changes and then press "units" again. It will flash a number (I believe 500.0), thats when you put the check weight on. It will then say pass if all is well. If it says anything else, back up because it's about to catch flame.

I'm joking about the flame of course. I don't know what happens if it doesn't pass.

It's 50.00 actually. The check weight is 50g.
If the display doesn't show PASS, change the battery.
I had this issue once. New battery fixed it.
