DPMS 24" SS Fluted

Hello, I hope that this is not in the wrong place but I am looking to re-barrel my LR-30S to 24". I am hoping that someone has removed the 1x10 24" on thier 308 for a better twist rate and still have the stock barrel. Any direction would be great.

PS I just saw that it is. Could this be moved or doI need to delete it somehow?
