Trench Guns and Bayonet Lugs
Anyone know where I could get a bayonet lug for my 870? I have see them on military trech guns. How about bayo lugs for any other shotguns (not including mossy 590) If someone doesnt know what i am talking about it what looks like a metal thing that goes over te barrel and ends before the mag tube and allows a bayonet to be attached. I think thats what it looks like.

The big question is, WHY?....
If it's the Cool Factor, go ahead, it's your money.BUT.... Shotgun bbls are thin metal. The early M-16s, with about three times the wall thickness, tended to bend well past usefullness when the bayonet was employed. IOW, bayonet lugs are more cosmetic than useful on shotguns. |
