Reloading .22 rimfire

This morning the latest NRA Shooting Sports USA digital magazine arrived in my e-mail.
One of the articles was about reloading the .22 rimfire, using a kit from here:
http://22lrreloader.com/22lr-reloader-reviews/
With a review from here:
http://www.ssusa.org/articles/2015/8...r-competitors/
While it's kind of a tedious approach, and hardly a high volume enterprise, it supposedly will keep our rimfires fueled up for minimum cost.
Has anyone tried it?

There's a LOT of amortizing needed to justify that, even at today's whacky prices.

A lot of work for a little results (PUN INTENDED). LOL

It would be simpler to stock up on a couple of 550 packs.

You would have to be an extremely serious rimfire shooter for this to even possibly make sense IMO.

Even then, I wonder what consistency even the most meticulous reloader could eek out of this system. THe powder charge and bullet weight are no different than centerfire, but I am not sure priming in this manner sould be done very consistently. Not sure how much the difference in primers would affect things.

Also, isn't the primer in rimfires filled with a few nasty chemicals? This would involve a lot of handling.

I have seen those kits. Somehow I just don't think the Juice is worth the Squeeze.
