WA Drops FL, Maine Permit Info Private, WV to Honor More

The Washington State Attorney General has removed Florida from the list of states it honors. Florida has not removed Washington from the list of states it honors but will in the very near future. FL will honor anyone who honors them. Washington is stating this for the Reason: Allows under 21-yrs-old honorably discharged veterans to have license.

The Maine Governor signed a bill making Permit/License Information private. More states have bills in that would make the information on who has a Permit/License private after names and addresses were published in NY.

West Virginia has changed their reciprocity law. They will now honor anyone who honors them. That means WV in the coming months should add Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska Nevada & Wisconsin as states they honor as these states already honor WV. Colorado, Georgia and Alabama should also be added to the WV list as these states will honor anyone who honors them. WV Does not honor any of the listed states above yet but should in the coming months.

www.handgunlaw.us will be updated with the above changes in the states laws and how they honor one another later this evening.
