Whats the biggest hunk of junk you ever filled out a 4473 for?
For me it was a para ordnance hi capacity .45.
Jammed, couldn't ever fix it. |

I have two....a DB380 and PT1911.
DB380 broke after 25rds. Trigger was horrible. I bought it during my Glock faze. Went back to 1911s or similar guns like the P238. I no longer own any Glocks. The PT1911 wouldn't feed any HP ammo and only 50% of ball no matter what brand, type of mag I used or how tweaked the extractor was. The finish came off like it was applied with a sharpie. The right side thumb safety fell off. Hammer follow happened after 50rds. Finally the frame dented easily when it slightly hit much softer material like wood. Total garbage and was the straw that broke any consideration for a single Taurus product ever again. I've owned other Taurus garbage and handled many more but that PT1911 was the last purchase. Both guns were sold with-in a week of buying them. |

Kimber CDP II... Parts breakage/ catastrophic failure (as in the slide flew off of the frame and went down range) at < 250 rounds.
I promptly had it repaired and then traded it for a real pistol... A Glock 35 (and a Mossberg 590). |

You need shallow water and a high angle of attack..... centerfires (or a 5 foot handled spade swung haymaker style, with the blade hitting the water flat.....) will kill multiple carp with one shot...... You need direct hits with .22lr ....... and light refraction from the water makes this tricky the first few times..... .... not that I am suggestin anyone do this ...... it is probably dangerous...... maybe illegal........ ..... come to think of it, quite a few things I enjoyed as a "yout" were probably dangerous, illegal, or both. |

The worst one for me was a Kahr PM9. It was one of the first ones when they firsdt came out. After I got it back from Kahr the 3rd time for FTFs and it still wouldn't feed properly, I ended up taking an angle grinder to it, cutting it up and tossing it in the trash.

Intratec Tec-22. Looked cool, would jam every other round, and when it jammed, it would take a round and bend it at a 90 degree angle.

I never bought a 'Hunk of junk'. The closest might be my Ruger Super Single Six. That ought tell you something, as it is a pretty darn good revolver.

Llama Minimax .45. Turned out to be a reliable, but clunky pistol. Fit and finish looked like it was hand-fitted by a crosseyed drunk.

It was made by Taurus.
That's all that matters.

Ruger Ranch Rifle. Say it Loud. I'd only heard about 5 minute rifles before that.

Walther TPH in .22. And twenty different brands of ammo, and 8 or 10 spare magazines. After all that I could occasionally get three rounds in a row to fire and feed.

Phoenix HP-22,,,
Some people love their Phoenix pistols but mine never worked well,,,
I didn't get but about 3 boxes of .22 LR through it,,, Before it stopped firing the cartridges. I sent it back to Phoenix (my dime) in California,,, They returned it saying nothing was wrong,,, It still won't fire a cartridge. I called them back and they said send it in again,,, They returned it and it still won't shoot,,, They paid shipping the second time. Fortunately it was only $99.95 to begin with,,, I have a very cute paperweight. Aarond .

Taurus judge. When it would actually work I loved firing 410. Problem was it rarely worked. Taurus took it back many times, said it was fixed. It never was. They refused to speak to me so I went through the BBB and got a refund.

NIB Taurus M85. Seized up solid at 250 rounds and as a CCW piece, there was no way I was going to trust it. That was my first and last Taurus.
