Savage Stocks

I have a Savage 10 7mm 08 and 110 25:06 both with wooden stocks.
I noticed some good deals on used savage synthic stocks on an auction site.
Will the synthic long and short actions easily exchange with the savage wood stocks.
Thanks

They exchange, but the old Savage synthetics aren't rigid enough. I had barrel rubbing at the tip of the one that came with my 10FP so I replaced it. Savage has a new design to make the stock more rigid. It may be that the deals are people dumping the old ones because they wanted to replace them with the new ones?
