Anyone shoot a Hipoint 995TS ? looking to mount a scope

Has anyone done this ?
what hardware is needed ?

Only the rail directly on the receiver is rigid enough for a scope.

A lower power scope is all that is really worth putting on one, as the range is about 100yds at best. Bullet drop is the big limiting factor.

A 2-4X scope can work well.

After trying a scope, I have a red dot on mine, seems to work much better. The trigger seems to be the limiting factor on a Hi-Point carbine.

They come new with a scope mount. You have to replace the sight with the base. If you don't have it you should be able to order one factory direct.

I would not put anything on there over 2X or better just a red dot.

I honestly prefer shooting it with the iron sights but I don't shoot it much any more.
