CETME/FR8 flash suppressor thread pitch
What is the tread pitch for a CETME or FR8. I know that they're identical. I want to mount a CETME flash suppressor on an old turk Mauser I cut the barrel down on. and need to figure out which size die to use.

No clue on the thread diameter or pitch, but since you'll have to turn the end of the barrel to the major diameter of the thread anyway, why not do the threading on the lathe to insure keeping it coaxial with the bore?

I don't have a lathe. I do have files, calipers/micrometers, and a set of dies.
That's all I used when I threaded the barrel on my WASR 3 and it turned out good. |
