A Weaver RV9 3-9x32 Rimfire w/AO would get you pretty close to 10x. It's not cheap but it's a really good scope. A Weaver V16 4-16x42 w/AO would be another good choice. FWIW I use V24 6-24x42 on a couple of my benchrest 10/22s.

Weaver RV9 on a custom 10/22.

If I had a Ruger 10/22, I would probably put one of these on it.

I own two Redfield scopes and I have been very happy with them. I really like the accu-range reticle. With the 4-12 power, I can shoot the heart from a squirrel at 80 yards with .17 HMR. I reccomend the 3-9 because you don't need anything more than that for a 10/22.

Redfield makes great optics, made in America, warrantied for life, great light transmission and clarity. I take out squirrels with deadly precision at any distance that I can see one.

Also consider a good reflex sight, such as a Burris Fastfire. For a 10/22, it would allow you to shoot both eyes open and with a high degree of precision, no magnification though.

Hmmm, so I guess my 6X24X40 is not in play?

I like to see into the holes at 50 yards...

I think it depends on what you're doing with your 10/22!!
