Palmetto State M4 Ar 15 orc
I've had mine for a week now.It has a 1/7 twist Chrome lined 16" barrel.I know FN made the barrel.I've shot 60 rds.through it. Also ordered some black hills 68gr.,haven't shot any yet.Does anyone have one of these rifles? Any info.or experiences appreciated.

PSA makes good quality AR's. I have an complete upper receiver from them and the quality is excellent. I think you will be happy with yours.
Got any pics of yours? |

I am not familiar with that particular set up but do own 3 AR's and have cast and re-loaded for over 40 years. Try out different weight loads and bullet ogives until you find out what works best in your rifle. My most accurate AR with a 1:7 twist barrel is a tack driver with 62, 64 and 65 grain bullets but only "so-so" with 55 grain projectiles.

Your optics should depend on what you intend to do with the rifle the most. For close up and personal iron sights works really great and don't need batteries. The "Red Dot" scopes for quick aquisition, just point and shoot. A
1x4 or 3x9 scope for further out. I have "one of each"! This is why the AR set up is so fun as the options are numerous. |
