fitting an extractor in an old Browning HP
Hello,
This may be a silly question, but the new extractor just arrived from Cylinder and Slide for my P35 High Power. This is the internal 1911 style extractor. When adjusting the extractor, do the same rules about shaping the claw like one would with a 1911 pistol apply? And is the tesion adjustment the same, round hooked on the claw with a little droop but no shake out the same also? Many thanks. Joe

Don't adjust anything until you install the extractor and try it. It should be OK as is. If it doesn't work right, either send it back or then try tuning it.
