SLP barrel length question

I have one w/ an 18.5" barrel, and am wondering about how it differs from the 22" application-wise? I know the 18.5" is more maneuverable in a HD scenario, but are there times when the 22" is preferable.

You are talking about a few inches - what possible differences do YOU seem to think might occur?

I really don't know, hunting maybe. I always thought 22" was an odd length for a tactical shotgun. Just want to know if the 22" has any advantages over the 18.5".

Possibly for turkey hunting.....otherwise stay with the 18.

It allows a longer mag extension without going beyond the end of the barrel?
Do some jurisdictions have a 22" rule?
