Score on a Double Beard!

Finally got to test the Indian Creek tube I put on the BPS last year. It took an hour to coax two toms about 1/2 mile or so down the ridge and across the dirt road, then climb back up my side on an old logging road. Finally shot him in the waddles at 25 yards, where he performed a miraculous back flip from the payload of Winchester Supreme #5's. His main beard was 10", with a secondary 8 1/2" beard. Spurs were 7/8" and weight about 20 lbs. Not bad for a mountain bird.

Nice bird, multiple beards are always a treat.

Bamaranger I dont think you can call turkey out of season. They dont respond, I have actually used turkey calls for coyotes.

The camera has a different date every time I use it. The battery door must be opened to retrieve the SD card, resetting the memory. Sorry, I guess I really should turn it off--if I can find it?!
