Replacement P99 part
I need to find a part. Specifically the horizontal adjustment screw for the rear sight of a Walther P99. I got a pair of Meprolight Night Sights for my P99. You're supposed to use the stock screw from the standard plastic sights to secure the new night sight. Except the stock screw doesn't fit in the Meprolight. I can screw it in about 3/4 of the way, then it gets stuck.
I'm not sure what to do, or if a new screw will even work. Is there some way I can make the screw fit? Maybe lubrication or something? I don't want to just force it, and risk breaking a $99 dollar sight. |

U may need to contact meprolight - unless your screw is messed up - something is wrong with the sight. The stock screw IS supposed to be removed from the stock sight and put into the new sight.
U CAN order a new screw from S&W - but I'm thinking that the threads may be messed up inside the sight. |
