natural look on nos enfield stock

hi ,i have a unissuid enfield #1 m3 stock i need to finish my question is what do you use for a grain filler and how do you apply it ? i intend to leave it it's natural color but do want it to look good .
i will probably use danish oil or pure tung oil but not blo ,( i used that on one of my mausers and it took me a billion years to make it look good,, and it does but i don't have the patience anymore).lol
