glock 19 conversion
Hello, I recently acquired a g19. I have made some much needed adjustments to the gun by installing extended controls, ultimate trigger stop, and completely redoing the trigger. i am aware that the g23 can be converted to a g19. i like shooting and plinking with the 9 as it is much cheaper to operate. Is it possible to convert the 19 to a 23 for ccw? any suggestions and information are welcome. thanks in advance.

A 9mm barrel is available for the 23, but function isn't always 100%. The 9mm case is smaller in diameter than the .40, so the extractor doesn't touch much of the case rim.
Since the .40 is larger in diameter, the 9mm extractor probably won't fit around the .40's rim. The bolt face of the 9mm will be too small for the .40 also. |

I suppose i'll just have to investigate purchasing a g23 to go along with my 19.
Thanks |

There's nothing wrong with being the owner of another pistol! Besides, you'll help stimulate the economy.

A G19 extractor will fit in a G23 slide. 9mm conversion barrels for G23s and G22s are extremely reliable.
