I would advise you to take a look at The Armed Citizen's Legal Defense Network, and if possible to join - Before you need it.

Antipitas, your link puts an extra http:// in the web address such that there are two of them and such that then the link doesn't work - FYI. If one just deletes both sets of http:// and just uses the www .... portion of the address, it comes up fine.

Thanks, Double Naught. Every once in a while, I get one to slip by me. Fixed!

As it turns out, I am now an attorney in Dallas. Are you looking for someone familiar with firearms law or a criminal defense attorney (someone to represent you after a defensive shooting)?

Thanks Al! It was a pleasant surprise to me as well
Derekadavis, I'm what they call a "transactional" attorney and mostly work in Oil and Gas; but I am familiar with firearms laws from working as a research assistant on one of the Heller briefs and a lifetime interest in firearms laws. If you were looking for someone to represent you in the aftermath of a shooting, I would probably not be the ideal choice. On the plus side, I am just out of law school myself, so my knowledge wouldn't be too much worse since it is basically at the starting level If you are looking at starting an FFL or some business-related purpose, I can probably help you out if you want to drop me a PM. |

I have a litigation and criminal defense practice in Dallas. I will post my website once it gets set up and approved, but for now, PM me and I will send my phone number.
