Aimpoint Micro mount

So has anybody changed from a lower 1/3 to absolute cowitness? I'm seriously considering doing this after firing my friend's SCAR today with absolute. I currently have the Larue LT660 mount.

LaRue mounts tend to hold their value. I'd just sell it and buy another.

Maybe post the mount for sale/trade for absolute on a place like the AR15.com for sale boards?
